well you cant get past the fact that in the wild leos would get a small amount of uv, but no where near the amount the uv tubes give out.

So, whats your views on uv? do you use it? how long have you used it? and do you find a difference between using it/not using it?

i, do not use uv, as it stands the general opinion is its not needed and is a waste of electricity, as we know, leos are nocturnal, meaning they hide during daylight so a bright uv tube will not get to them as they will hide while its on.

personally, what i would like to see is some sort of uv that reflect the same level of both uv and lighting they would get at dusk/dawn and during the night.

some people also believe that it damages their eyes, but i must stress that although it should be taken into consideration, without some proper research to back it up, you cant say that it does for sure.
